We regularly get a number of phone calls asking if we carry coordinating paper plates, napkins, and other partyware. Because we offer original designs at The Favor Maker, we sadly tell customers no, we don't, but with these money-saving tableware tips, you can have a beautifully coordinated party, without overdoing your theme. Try some of these ideas:
1) Purchase paper plates, napkins, and serveware in two or three coordinating colors. The brand Amscan, available at Party City and other party supply stores, is available in a wide variety of colors.
2) Use coordinating double-faced satin ribbon to dress up your plates. The photo here shows a simple white square paper plate with two holes punched in the corner and tied with a ribbon bow.
3) Roll your silverware/plastic tableware in napkins (paper or cloth) of a contrasting color. Tie with a ribbon or wrap with a coordinating napkin band and small round label (available at www.thefavormaker.com to match any theme).
4) Polka dots are popular! Use a solid colored tablecover and sprinkle circle confetti in coordinating colors around your buffet table. You can also purchase solid-color confetti circles (available in our store) and stick them onto contrasting items such as plates, plastic tablecloths, and balloons for a polka-dot look.
